This policy applies to VeraPad for Android, which lets you use your phone as a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard for a Windows PC. The core input features work without an account.

1. Bluetooth connections and input

VeraPad uses Android's Nearby devices permission to connect and let you select a PC. It reads the names and addresses of devices already paired in Android to display and find the device you choose. VeraPad sends key presses, pointer movement, clicks, and scroll signals directly to the selected PC over Bluetooth. The app does not keep a separate record of your input or send it to yeodarim servers or advertising services. The programs you use on the PC handle the input they receive.

2. Information stored on your phone

VeraPad saves your language, keyboard layout, theme, pointer speed, and animation preferences in app storage. It also stores whether the first PC connection was completed, whether ad-free passes were redeemed, and when the ad-free period expires. This information restores your preferences and passes on the device and is not synced to yeodarim servers.

Clearing VeraPad's app data or uninstalling it removes these local records. You can remove system Bluetooth pairings in the Bluetooth settings of your Android phone and Windows PC. You can revoke the Nearby devices permission in Android settings.

3. Advertising and privacy choices

Versions with advertising enabled use Google AdMob to display a banner in the PC connection section. VeraPad uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to check advertising choices and may show a consent message based on your region and configuration. When the app shows Ad privacy options, you can use it to change your choices. An active ad-free pass hides the banner.

The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect or share the following information to deliver and measure ads, diagnose app and ad performance, and prevent fraud.

  • IP address, which may be used to estimate general location
  • Interactions such as app launches, taps, and ad views
  • Diagnostics related to app and SDK performance or errors
  • Advertising ID, app set ID, and applicable device or account identifiers

The SDK encrypts data in transit using TLS. You can reset or delete the advertising ID in Android settings. Google LLC and the relevant Google service providers may process advertising and consent information in the United States and other countries where Google operates facilities.
